D C Groves & Son are a small family run business based in Tenterden in Kent and have been trading for over 25 years. dc_groves.jpg

The business was set up in 1980 by Don Groves.  A few years later his son Anthony left school and became involved in the business and following Don's sudden death in 1992 became the figurehead of the company.  Anthony continues to run the business today with the help of his wife Karen and Business Partner Ian.

We have a modern fleet of specialised removal vehicles that vary in size so we are able to accomodate any size of removal within the United Kingdom and Europe.

Our staff are fully trained in all aspects of packing, moving, storage and shipping and will always help with any queries you may have within the course of your move.

D C Groves & Son are proud to be a member of The British Association of Removers.

We are able to offer a full range of packing services including specialised coverings for the safe transportation of your effects.
D C Groves has our own liability insurance cover for your effects both when moving and in our storage facility.

We can supply all the appropriate packaging materials required for any size of job.
Soft covers for furnishings are also provided to give your effects all the necessary protection during your move.
For any fragiles, antiques or extra special items, we have a team of experts who are trained in making bespoke crates and cartons.
We have fully trained staff in export wrapping for shipping abroad or just to give that extra protection for any particularly fragile items.
We also specialise in moving pianos.
